The icon that is displayed for a file type will reflect the Default Application associated with this type of file. The default application is the program that opens when you double-click on them. It is the computer’s “go-to” program.
During the Soda PDF installation process, the option Make default to open PDF files is preselected. The new icon appears as a result of Soda PDF becoming your default application. Your files have not been changed in any way.
