Soda PDF will install a Virtual Printer on your system. This is different than your physical printer which produces paper copies of documents. The Soda PDF printer is the technology that converts files into PDFs.
As a rule of thumb, any file that can be printed can be converted into a PDF.

It is important to note that only Soda PDF Desktop will install a virtual printer. Soda PDF Online is housed in your web browser and does not install anything on your system. You can still create PDFs from other file types using Soda PDF Online.
