Learn how to quickly send a PDF file via email. This guide covers simple steps to attach and share your PDF document.
This article will cover the instructions for the following versions:
Soda PDF Desktop
- Open the file you want to email in Soda PDF Desktop.
- Click on the Envelope icon in the top left corner.
- Alternatively, you can click on the Share icon in the top right corner.
- Select the Email option.
A New Mail message will open in Outlook with your PDF attached and ready to be sent.
Alternatively, you can go into any email provider you have an account with. There will be an Attach option any time you compose a new email. Browse your computer and choose the PDF that is saved and it will be sent with your email.

- Right-click anywhere on your document.
- Click Send by email.
- Enter the recipient's email address.
- Click Continue.
- Once the email is sent, you will see the notification.
- The recipient will receive the following email with the link to download the file that will be available for 24 hours.
