Hibernate on Close is a Soda PDF Desktop feature that ensures you can access your files as quickly as possible. When this is enabled, Soda PDF will remain running in the background even after you close it.
This is a common practice for applications on your mobile device. The longest part of opening your files is loading the software. With Hibernate on Close enabled, Soda PDF will open significantly quicker.
- Click on the Options Logo.
- Click on General.
- Toggle the switch next to Hibernate on Close to turn it on or off.
There is no Hibernate on Close feature available in Soda PDF Online. This is because Soda PDF is housed inside of your web browser. Soda PDF Online is always ready to go making this feature unnecessary.
