With the release of Soda PDF 10, you can open any PDF files that are version 2.0.
Any new documents you save with Soda PDF 14 will automatically be saved as version 2.0. Click here to learn how you can convert a document to an older PDF version.
Additional changes have been made to Soda PDF to ensure it respects the PDF 2.0 guidelines. We’ve updated our password security standard to only provide 256-bit AES encryption.
We’ve also updated our appearance editing options for document elements to make sure we have the expected functionality for the new PDF format.
