How to run the repair option?

We recommend saving any open files in Soda PDF. Soda PDF will prompt you to close the application should it be open during the repair process.

How to launch the Soda PDF Desktop Installation Manager:

From Start Menu

Windows 10 + 11: 

  • Click on the Start Menu.
  • Choose All Apps.
  • Find the Soda PDF Desktop.
  • Right-click on Soda PDF Desktop and choose Uninstall.

 
Windows 8:

Please refer to the Control Panel Uninstall section below.

Windows 7 + Vista:

  • Click on the Start Menu.
  • Choose All Programs.
  • Expand the Soda PDF folder.
  • Choose Uninstall or Modify Soda PDF.
  • The Soda PDF installation wizard will now open.

 

From Control Panel 

Windows 10+8:

  • Right-click on the Start Menu.
  • Choose the Control Panel option.
  • Choose Uninstall a Program from the Programs (category view) section or Programs and Features (icon view).

 

Windows 7+Vista:

  • Click to open the Start Menu.
  • Choose the Control Panel option from the right side.
  • Choose Uninstall a Program from the Programs (category view) section or Programs and Features (icon view).
  • The Soda PDF Desktop Installation Manager will now open.

 

You'll see the Installation Manager open.

  • Choose Repair.

Soda PDF will now run the Repair option, ensuring that everything is installed correctly. You can click Cancel to stop this.

When you click Run Soda PDF the process will be complete.
