- Inside the PDQ Deploy console select
New Packageas shown below.
Alternatively, you can do the same by selecting File -> New Package
- Inside the
Packagedialog box, find theNamefield and enter the package name. In our test example, we have enteredSoda PDF 14.
Leave all other options as default.
- Select
New Stepand clickInstallto create a new installation step.
- Inside the
Packagedialog box,Detailssection, specify theInstall File. This is the path to the Windows Installer Package, i.e., MSI package.
Please note that for a successful installation you need to install the Startup module first. After the installation of the Startup Module, any other module can be installed, and the order of installation does not matter. A list of the 4 modules contained inside the zip file we distribute can be seen below.

- Inside the
Parametersbox specify where you want to install the software, followed by the parameter for quiet installation, e.g.TARGETDIR="C:\PDQ\" /quiet - Hit
Saveand close the dialog box. - Select
Soda PDF 14->Deploy Once
In the Options section of the Deploy Once dialog box, you need to enter the credentials for the machine(s) you want the software installed on.

Add Credentials. If you are using PDQ Deploy for the first time, you need to create new credentials by selecting
Add Credentialsas shown below.
Inside the Add Credentials dialog box enter the Domain, User Name, and Password for the machine(s) you will be deploying to.
- Enter Computer Name. Inside the
Deploy Oncedialog box, you need to add the computer(s) to deploy the software on and selectAdd Computer.
- Hit
Deploy Now. On the bottom right of theDeploy Oncedialog box, selectDeploy Now.
If the installation is successful, the console should look like the one shown below:
