How to create a submit button for a form

Step 1 - Open the Forms Tab and select Submit

  • Click on the Forms Tab.
  • Select Button.
  • Click on Submit.

 

 

Step 2 - Add the URL

When you select the Submit button a window will open prompting the URL for your database.

  • Enter the URL then press OK.

 

 

Step 3 - Add the Submit Button to your PDF

As you move the mouse cursor over the document you will see the outline of the field before it is placed.

The submit button will appear once you click the left mouse button in the appropriate place.

 

 

Step 4 - Changing the size or location of the Submit Button

You can change the button's size or location in Edit Mode.

  • Switch to Edit mode.

 

 

Changing the submit button's size

  • Hold down the left mouse button while your cursor is over the border.
  • Drag your cursor.
  • Release the mouse button and the changes will be made.

Moving the submit button

  • Hold down the left mouse button while your cursor is over the button.
  • Move the outline of the submit button to a new place in your document.
  • Release the mouse button and the changes will be made.

Step 5 - Modification of the properties of the Submit Button

  • Switch to Edit Mode.
  • Right-click on the Submit Button.
  • Choose Properties.

Step 6 - Configuring the appearance of the Submit Button

You can modify the look and feel options in the Appearance Tab.

  • Click on the Appearance Tab.
  • Choose any option you want.

Step 7 - Test the Submit Button

  • Switch to View mode.
  • Click on the button.

 

 

Step 8 - Delete a button

  • Switch to Edit mode.
  • Right-click on the button.
  • Select Remove.
