How to Convert from PDF to Image

This article will cover the instructions for the following versions:

 

Soda PDF Desktop

  • In the Create & Convert Module click on the PDF to Image option.


 

  • You will need to decide which pages in your PDF will be turned into an image.

 

 

  • You need to then select which Image Format should be created in the conversion.

 

 

  • Click on the folder icon to change where Soda PDF will save your file.

 

 

  • Click on the three dots in the corner to open more settings.

 

 

  • Select the resolution dpi.

 

 

  • By default, the folder with your images will open. Uncheck the box next to Open folder with image files after conversion to prevent the folder from opening.

 

 

  • Click the Make Default button to use the selected settings moving forward.

 

 

  • Click on Export to turn your PDF into an image.

 

 

When your file is finished converting, you will see the notification.

We provide a quick shortcut for the conversion tool.

  • Navigate to the part of your computer where the file is saved.
  • Right-click on the file.
  • Expand the Soda PDF option and choose Convert to Image.

Soda PDF Online

You can access Soda PDF Online here - https://tools.sodapdf.com/

  • Open the Edit tab.
  • Select the Convert option.

 

 

  • Select Image and choose the image format (PNG, JPG, or GIF).
  • Click the Convert button.

 

 

Once the document is converted, the following window will open.

  • Click on the pencil icon to rename the file.
  • Click on the Save file button to download the file.
  • You also have the option to email it.
